OECD applauds Swedish aid reforms, calls for expanded Sadev mandate

The OECD hails the Swedish government’s aid policy reforms and its leading role in the donor community in a peer review published a week after Sweden assumed the EU Presidency.

The review also warns against the Swedish aid agency Sida “encroaching on [the government’s] policy" and calls for an expansion of the mandate of the evaluation agency Sadev to cover all ministries’ efforts to support Swedish development policy.
