TA for Danish Business Finance projects

The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces a framework agreement for technical assistance related to the Danida Business Finance (DBF) programme.

The programme provides access to finance and can leverage finance for Danish companies for infrastructure in developing countries. DBF offers subsidised loans for projects in countries with per capita income below USD 4,035 and with a Danish representation.

This technical assistance involves engineering services combined with financial, socio-economic, and institutional expertise for a range of services.

The services include: the identification of infrastructure projects, project development, concept note and feasiblity studies; appraisal of projects and assistance in relation to the drafting of documents to be presented to Danish authorities for approval; elaboration of pre-qualification and tender documents, evaluation reports, contract negotiations with winning contractor and setting up of contract with buyer; and finally, monitoring of implementation and verification of the project during its whole implementation period.

These services can cover several sectors: agriculture processing; electric power; renewable energy; solid waste; telecom; transport; water and wastewater.

The deadline for submission of tenders is June 15, 2017.
