Wins Danida anti-terror contract
A Danida contract combating money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism in Ethiopia has been awarded to the Washington DC-based think tank, the Center on Counterterrorism Cooperation.
Founded and headed by Johns Hopkins University expert on counterterrorism and U.S. foreign policy Alistair Millar, the center describes itself as a “nonprofit, nonpartisan policy institute dedicated to strengthening international counterterrorism cooperation”.
Danida aims to strengthen the region’s ability to address radicalisation by supporting the establishment of legal, regulatory and operational measures for combatting money laundering, and terrorist financing in Ethiopia and regionally.
The contract is worth DKK 4.6 million.
