SWECO wins wastewater contract in Sri Lanka

SWECO has been awarded a contract by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) for the supervision of a new wastewater system in and around the Sri Lankan capital city of Colombo.

The Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs will finance the position of Senior Land Use Planning Specialist at the Mekong River Commission, based in Vientiane.

This World Vision project to be evaluated had as its overall aim to support the development of a more normal market economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the delivery of credit and business services which support business and households in rural areas.

Rural electrification in Uganda

Sida has allocated SEK 74 million for the implementation and monitoring of the Sida II Rural Electrification Project in Uganda. This involves the design, procurement and construction of 130 kilometres of overhead transmission lines.
